Our client, a dynamic Abu Dhabi government entity is currently headhunting for an exciting opportunity to have a Marketing Department Director join their team. The Director role will be responsible for overseeing marketing efforts across a variety of traditional and digital marketing platforms and monitor related media coverage in collaboration with key marketing, media and advertising agencies.

Role:

- Establish and implement marketing strategies and plans to promote a destination locally and internationally
- Develop and implement the company's brand marketing plans and strategies, encompassing successful brand-building marketing initiatives to promote a destination
- Oversee the establishment and execution of media strategies and plans, aiding to widen media coverage and to promote a destination
- Build and nurture relationships with potential media partners, agencies and stakeholders
- Manage crisis and communication issues and develop appropriate responses to help retain confidence and impact on local businesses
- Manage content development for all marketing efforts and campaigns, aligning with brand and adapting with audience interests and needs
- Provide strategic direction to plan and develop advertising and promotional campaigns for relevant markets and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns against defined KPIs and objectives

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, or Equivalent
- 8 to 10 years of managerial experience in marketing, advertising, brand management
- Experienced in creating marketing campaigns, marketing strategies and marketing plans
- Experience in online and digital marketing, as well as strong understanding of public relations and excellent knowledge of current marketing trends
- Arabic speaking is preferred
