Our client is a government entity and seeking to recruit a Manager, Board Secretariat

– Manage the Board Secretariat function by providing professional support to the Organization's Board Secretariat, Executive Office and all sub-committees
– Ensure effective cascading of the Board Secretariat sectional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies
– Working closely with the Chairman, Board members and PCEO in the planning of board meetings ensuring creation and timely distribution of agenda for board meetings
– Recording and distributing the minutes of board meetings and maintaining updated board planning calendar outlining matters to be on the board’s agenda over the course of year

Requirements:

– 6+ years of progressive experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial level / supervisory role
– Strong communication and relationship management skills
– Commercial acumen and negotiating skills
– Excellent knowledge in MS applications
– High command of English (spoken and written) and Arabic is preferable
