Our client, a semi-government entity in Abu Dhabi, are looking for an experienced M&A Associate to join their buy-side team. This role will involve leading critical workstreams for cross-sector M&A transactions, collaborating with senior leadership, and ensuring seamless execution.

Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation modeling for potential acquisitions
- Support due diligence processes, including coordinating with external advisors and analyzing key findings
Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
Monitor market trends and identify strategic M&A opportunities
Assist in transaction execution, including drafting agreements, negotiating terms, and ensuring seamless deal closure

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CFA designation preferred
- 4-5 years of M&A experience at a Big Four, bulge bracket firm, or within a corporate development team
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering results in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous
