Our client, a prominent government entity, is seeking a visionary leader to guide Abu Dhabi’s economic vision and strategy. This pivotal role focuses on crafting and implementing policies and frameworks that drive economic resilience and diversification across the Emirate.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and oversee the implementation of strategic objectives, policies, and operational plans for economic clusters.
- Ensure alignment of annual budgets and performance objectives with overarching economic goals.
- Lead initiatives to enhance economic research, intelligence, and analytical frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
- Formulate Abu Dhabi’s consolidated economic strategy, ensuring alignment with government aspirations.
- Develop cluster-based and regional strategies to advance priority sectors.
- Provide accurate economic performance insights to key stakeholders through periodic research and reporting.
- Oversee economic policy research, ensuring it informs meaningful policy reforms.
- Lead workforce planning and recruitment efforts within the sector.
- Monitor performance and provide developmental guidance to executive leadership and staff.

Experience:

- At least 16 years of leadership experience in institutional strategy development, economic planning, policy development, and large-scale program delivery.
- Proven ability to meet performance expectations in strategic initiatives.
- Top-tier Strategy consulting Experience

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Political Science, Public Policy, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
- Certifications such as Chartered Economist, Advanced Management Programme, or similar are advantageous.
