We’re partnered with a leading UAE Government entity in the search for an accomplished Chief of AI. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the entity's AI strategy, driving innovation, and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance investment decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute the AI strategy for the entity, aligning with the organization's overall objectives.
-Lead a team of AI professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions across operations.
-Oversee the development and deployment of AI models for risk assessment, portfolio optimization, and other investment-related functions.
-Collaborate with external partners, startups, and research institutions to stay at the forefront of AI advancements.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in AI applications.
-Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on AI trends, opportunities, and risks.


Requirements:

-Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Proven experience in a leadership role within AI, ideally within the financial services, banking or investment industry.
-Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
-Demonstrated success in developing and implementing AI strategies that drive business impact.
-Experience managing and mentoring a team of AI professionals.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies is a plus.
-Previous experience working with sovereign wealth funds or financial institutions.
-Publications or thought leadership in the field of AI.
-Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for AI in the finance industry.
